Looking at a V11 or a California, 2000 or newer. Are these good bikes?

Which one of these would be better among the rest in terms of performance,handling & value ?

I recently took trade of a motorcycle, for some parts I had for a Trike project gone sour. I’m handicapped and needed a traditional bike so I can use hand controls and my right leg. Anyway, I have this monster-big custom that was built in the early 70’s. The bike only has a round medalion on the gas tank that says "The Phoenix". The story is that a man in Casa Grande Arizona built 17 of these to become a manufacturer. He needed 24, but took ill and past on. This thing is heavy, with a lower springer, has 13 inch car tires and wheels, is powered with a Ford pinto engine. The driveline is simple, a centrifugal clutch mounted on the flywheel, direct shaft to a 90degree gear box, and chain to the rear wheel. The rest of this thing is an eclectic blend of fabrication and converted items, like trailer fenders, and a Moto Guzzi gas tank. I have pictures if anyone can help me identify it.

An problems with the ENGINES harley, honda, and moto guzzi are the engines good like do they last long etc

The motorcycle cops where I live ride either Suzuki dirtbikes or Harley.
I remember when I was young they used to ride Harley and Moto Guzzi. Then went to Kawasaki. Now back to Harley. Whats next, the Hayabusa?

i am soon to be 14 and my father is wanting me to get my motorcycle license and of course i am totally stoked! I am just not sure about what kind of bike to get… A Moto Guzzi? A Harley? A Suzuki? A Yahmaha? I am not sure… would you help??? please..
