Im planning to get a used 2008 ninja 250R but the present owner added a two brothers exhaust to it, so that now the bike has been technically "customized". Kawasaki says that warranty is void after customizing any of its bikes. So, is this bike"s warranty void?

It has done 43000 miles, i bought it 6 weeks ago. It runs great but makes a horrible knocking noise that i can also feel through the bars. I dont know when it last had an oil change or if that would make a difference. I know the timing chain makes a noise on these bikes. Should i ignore it or get it sorted? Minimal funds means i cant get a complete overhaul on the engine. Any help would be gratefully received.

It between Triumph’s Speed Triple and Kawasaki’s NEW 2010 Z1000.

Also how low should I try to get them to go on the price? The dealers around me are terrible. Even to the point of over marking their bikes.

This query comes from a worried mom…who’s been stalling her son’s requests for a bike for quite sometime…but can’t any longer! He has chosen recently launched Yamaha Fazer 153 cc bike.

Actually, subconsciously, I was wishing someone would give me strong reasons/excuses against buying bike…so I could show him! Daily reports of fatal accidents involving bikes do not deter him. I tell him its not always bikers mistake…mostly just a nudge from a truck or tanker is all that’s required. But he insists that he could fall off a bus or a ceiling fan could crush him. *Sob*
Thank you, Zimmer! That’s a good point! Here, in India, nobody follows traffic rules. They just bribe their way home if caught Motorcyclists are, generally speaking, an impatient lot…weaving their way in and out of traffic dangerously! Pretty scary!!!

I looked on the kawasaki website and they don’t make those anymore what is the bike they replaced it with? and what is the other brands bikes that compare to it??

The bike is a used 2009 with 2336 miles on it, no damage and has never been dropped. The listing price here is 00. Rather than mess around with a loan, I was just going to buy the bike (cash). What would be the lowest price I could talk them down to? I plan on buying all my future bikes from them.

My BF bought an ‘88 Kawasaki ninja ZX 600 C1 and it needs carburetor #2 Replaced, but I’ve been reading online that these bikes can sometimes use parts from other models… is this true? if so, what models are compatible for his bike? Thanks!

I was just wondering because I’ve seen people advertising one as Kawasaki Ninja 650R EX650. So is it the same with 2 different names or different bikes?

I’ve been looking at Yamaha XS650, Honda Rebel 450, or Honda Night Hawk to start out with…but I want to compare these to a triumph. Which Triumph model do you recommend for a newbie?

I dont have much exp on bikes in fact I have about 20 hours on a mo-ped exp lol. but i want to start riding. is this a good first bike? if not what would be a good bike?
