So i just bought a 1982 Kawasaki Jet Ski JS550 it was in storage for 8 years and hasn’t been ran since then. What should i do first to get it running? and about how much will it cost to make it a runner?
This is what i know it needs
missing gas cap, battery, and exhaust down pipe
where can i get them?

The key does turn a little to the right but still does not open i wanna go ride to night but i’m in a real need of gas someone has to no what to do!
I tried the wd40 and the pushing on the gas cap maybe it does turn left tho and im an idiot any other ideas tho?

I have a ‘94 VS 800 Suzuki Intruder.

The gas tank cap is "keyed" to the same key as the ignition, and generally opens with a 90 degree turn that releases switches on either side of the cap inside the tank, releasing it for removal.

The last time I went to fill up my tank, the cap will not come off. The key turns fine in the core, but it seems that somehow the core got detached from the mechanism that releases the cap.

Does anyone know of a way I can remove the gas cap short or prying it off, or just drilling the core?
